A couple of days ago, actor Michael K. Williams announced that he was levaing out of the Han Solo spinoff film, because of his schedules make it impossible for him to continue. Even so, he didn’t left the film without releasing a little bit of information.
During an interview with Vanity Fair, Williams said that his character was: “half-animal and half-human”, and served as “a link between Han Solo and Emilia Clarke’s character, Kira.” Well, there it’s, that’s the name of the character. But, according to Making Star Wars, the name is actually spelled Kura.
There’s no further information about Emilia’s character, but an interestng detail is that Kira was actually the original name for the character Rey, from Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
The spinoff film about Han Solo is set to premiere on May 25, 2018.
