Aclaran los alcances que tendría el cameo de Peter Parker en Venom

With all the recent previews about Venom, rumours about the upcoming film starred by Tom Hardy have shown up, and there’s one in particular that caught everyone’s attention: Tom Holland appearing in the film.

The was started by Collider’s reporter Jon Schnepp, who said that Holland -who plays Spider-Man for Marvel Studios- has been seen on the set of the symbiote’s movie. His words were: “I’m gonna say it right here on this show, Spider-Man is gonna be in Venom“. It was a hugh an confident statement, o all of us understood it was for sure. Anyway, it seems like he’s gone too far, and now he has to make it right.

In a recent podcast for his show Collider Heroes, Schnepp remained confident about Tom Holland being in the filme, but not as Spider-Man. This is his update:

Tom Holland was on set filming scenes on Venom for at least two days as Peter Parker. Ok, so I’m not saying that Spider-Man is in the film. When I say that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is in the film, I’m saying ‘Peter Parker is in the film. This is a cameo. I don’t know what it is. I didn’t read the script.

The whole thing between Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios is a little confusing when it comes to the Spider-Man universe. As you probably know, Sony owns the rights for the Spider-Man franchise, but Disney made an angreement with them to include the character in the MCU.

Anyway, Sony is now developing a personal cinematic universe with some Spider-Man’s spinoff. Venom is the first one, but the films for Morbius the Living Vampire and Silver Sable and Black Cat have been announced too. The big question here was if Spider-Man was going to appear somehow in the films. We don’t think Marvel Studios is going to share their success so easyly, but it looks like, somehow, both universes might be loosely connected if this rumor is truth.

Meanwhile, we’ll be expecting for more details about Venom, which is set to premiere on October 5, 2018.
