‘Flashpoint’ Will Be Directed By ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Writers

In their attempt to make the DCEU the great cinematographic universe that we all want it to be, Warner doesn’t skimp on efforts and risks, and that’s why you already have directors for the adaptation of Flashpoint, The Flash story finally will be on the big screen.

According to Variety, the producer has chosen the writers of ‘Spider-Man Homecoming’ John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein to lead this risky project. Both would then be the winners of a long selection process which included directors like Ben Affleck -who currently plays Batman in the DCEU-, and Robert Zemeckis (Forrest Gump) favorite.

Flashpoint tells the story of The Flash//Barry Allen (Ezra Miller in the DCEU) going to an alternative reality, where no one has any conscience about their original world except him and the reverse Flash.The story has been adapted in an animated film from 2013, Directed by Jay Oliva and written by Jim Krieg titled Justice League The Flashpoint Paradox.
