Recently, the fans of good old sci-fi were both happy and scared to know the announcement that a reboot series for The Twilight Zone was a possibility. Well, today we can confirm that project is coming, and the details about it are actually kind of promising.
According to THR, CBS has acquired the television rights of this project, and they’re planning to included on CBS All Access.
THR also says that director Jordan Peele (Get Out) will be executive producer for this reboot, along with Simon Kinberg (X-Men). Marco Ramírez is set to be showrunner. This is what Peele has to say about this:
Too many times this year it’s felt we were living in a twilight zone, and I can’t think of a better moment to reintroduce it to modern audiences.
There’s no further information about this new show, but we’ll be expecting it.
